A sturdy Thonet Arm Chair for dining or desk use, with a contrasting upholstery to wood combination. Nail heads up the class-factor on this unique chair. Arm height is even with back. Metal hardware around front two legs.
Sticker on underside of seat shows the pictured label: "71. THONET. Sheboygan, WISCONSIN. The best known name in contract furniture since 1830." Based on the Wisconsin location, this chair was made in the window of the factory from 1940s thru the latest of 1982.
Flaws and discoloration to upholstery make it salty - or in need of re-upholstery; depending on your preferences.
