Cheese board with cover from the Woodline series, designed by Birgit Krogh and produced in Denmark in the 1960s–70s.
Made from staved teak with a warm, varied grain, the piece is designed for flexible use. The flat board serves as a tray for cheese or small dishes, while the tall domed cover lifts off and can be inverted to function as a bowl.
The proportions are what make it—tall, slightly narrow, and a bit unexpected on a table.
