The board features two distinct working sides. One side has an inset end-grain teak center cutting board with a surrounding channel suited to serving, while the reverse is subtly concave, lending itself to presentation.

Produced for a very limited period from about 1962 to 1964, the Rare Woods line explored more varied materials and finishes, and remains less commonly encountered than Dansk’s standard teak production.
