A contemporary giclée on canvas with hand-applied “diamond dust” embellishments titled "One Heart Can Change the World" by Marcus Glenn. Hand signed by the artist lower right, with the signature of Dionne Warwick lower left. "From The Last Album - Duets" series; limited edition of 385. This artwork was used as the album cover for the single release Ocean in the Desert by Dionne Warwick and Cynthia Erivo and can be viewed on Spotify. The composition features text and symbolic imagery associated with both artists. Prominent text includes “Dionne Warwick,” “Cynthia Erivo,” and “Ocean In The Desert.” Imagery includes two outstretched hands, a central figure, desert imagery with cacti, a water scene, and a setting sun. Additional elements include butterflies, small figures, and layered graphic components consistent with a mixed-media construction. An opportunity to acquire a collaborative work associated with Marcus Glenn and Dionne Warwick.

Marcus Glenn (b. 1968, Detroit, Michigan) is an acclaimed contemporary American artist known for his innovative “Flat Life” technique and a career marked by major institutional and cultural recognition. A graduate of the College for Creative Studies, his work reflects influences from Pablo Picasso, Romare Bearden, and Jacob Lawrence. A significant accolade in Glenn’s career was his selection by The Recording Academy to create the official artwork for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. His mixed-media work, “One Nite Outta This World,” was featured across national GRAMMY materials, including the program cover, tickets, and promotional campaign—placing his work on one of the most visible stages in the arts. Further underscoring his institutional recognition, Glenn’s work is held in the permanent collections of the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History and the Detroit Historical Society. He has also achieved national visibility through his role as Visual Art Coordinator for Dionne Warwick’s final album, DWuets, with related appearances on major television programs. Widely collected both in the United States and internationally, Marcus Glenn continues to be recognized for his dynamic, music-inspired compositions and his significant contributions to contemporary American art.
