This is a salvaged vintage wallpaper art of a partial scene from the New York based Covington Fabric & Design … Read more This is a salvaged vintage wallpaper art of a partial scene from the New York based Covington Fabric & Design company's Avondale Verde Toile pattern. It's of a hunting and fishing scene. The whole scene would have include another boy to the right back side holding a rifle; and a man fishing at the bottom front right corner. The fabric was used for trousers, drapery, and wallpaper. We believe this came into the market around the 1940's or so.

What we also love about this piece is the vintage wood frame. The light teal color and aged patina on it is very beautiful.
