Rumoured to have come out of the presidential estate of President Harrison. It was acquired in New England before being shipped down to Palm Beach five years ago. It is a beautiful piece, and it has been cared for nicely and retains much of its original glory. There are a few darker marks on the surface of the bar from general use. I haven't tried to deep clean them, as I didn't want to ruin the patina. I use Danish oil on the piece to keep the bamboo from drying out, giving it that lush Palm Beach Regency sheen. There are a few light scuffs here and there, but nothing to write home about. The interior is made of simple plywood.
