This exceptional pendant light is a rare find from early 20th-century Spain, embodying the dramatic flair and exquisite craftsmanship of the era. The fixture features a heavy cast-bronze frame adorned with five meticulously detailed mythological dragons (chimeras), which serve as ornate arms cradling the central bowl.
The heart of this piece is a magnificent hand-blown glass bowl. Unlike mass-produced glass, this hand-crafted element showcases the subtle brilliance and unique character that only traditional Spanish glassblowers could achieve. It is finished with hand-cut patterns and accented by sparkling crystal pendalogues that create a captivating play of light.
Originally sourced from a historic estate in Spain.
As with all pieces in my collection, this chandelier has undergone a complete professional restoration. While preserving the deep, authentic patina of the bronze, I have entirely updated the internal components. It features brand-new professional wiring and is fully compatible with international voltage standards (110V–240V).
