Mid century school desk designed by Willy Van Der Meeren and produced by Tubax in Belgium. Industrial design which was widely used in schools. Sadly troughout the time when schools changed furniture, a lot of these disappeared and where discarted. The desk is made out of black metal and a formica top. Good condition 1950s - Belgium Height: 79cm/31.10" Width: 79m/31.10" Depth: 55cm/21.59" This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
