Vintage 1950's-1969's Portuguese majolica cabbage-leaf serving platter.
17.75” long x 10” wide x 1” deep
Marked “OLFAIRE / MADE IN PORTUGAL” with impressed mold number 7090.
This striking piece features a dozen wells with a central well and on both ends making it suitable for deviled eggs, oysters, seafood, or hors d’oeuvres.
The sculptural cabbage-leaf form is visually bold with organic texture exactly what Portuguese majolica is known for.
️Highly collectible and trending for egg and oysters not only for entertaining, but also as decorative displays. This 7090 oval mold is uncommon and does not appear frequently on the secondary market.
Excellent condition-No chips, cracks, or repairs noted. The glaze isn’t quite complete on one small edge.
