The celadon glaze is so subtle combined with the cobalt blue chinoiserie pattern. The lion mask or Foo Dog “handles” add even more detail. The vase is on the large side and makes a nice statement anywhere. It is probably from the 1970’s and made for export. the clay fragments on the inside bottom indicate that it was kiln fired pottery or porcelain. The glaze is glossy.
Being a dramatic, larger vase we love this piece on an entry or console table....perfect for Grandmillenial decor. See less
