We are selling this beautiful Japanese Arita charger. This charger is very well painted in underglaze blue decoration with polychrome over glazes. The quality of the painting is reminiscent of Nabeshima wares. The charger appears to be early Edo period based on quality, possibly early Meiji. There is a firing flaw that was covered with decoration at the nose of the right side hare.
Condition: Good antique condition. Firing flaw under the nose of the hare on the right and on a yellow decoration..
