This sink is in amazing condition for its 62 years, with relatively few blemishes to be found, and it is … Read more This sink is in amazing condition for its 62 years, with relatively few blemishes to be found, and it is nice and shiny from the top of the backsplash to the bottom edge. Top to bottom details: Save for a small, 0.08" chip on the back edge toward the right, the top of the backsplash is fine with no damage or wear. The faucet, spout, and drain stopper mechanism all look very good with chrome that is far better than average. The only thing found to point out is the lack of caps on the faucet handles. This sink has not been in use for years; thus, the faucet has not been recently tested with water. The movement of the handles feels correct, and the stopper raises and lowers as it should. The surface running around the basin is very good overall. There is some faint wear to the front edge, and three tiny chips to the right, the largest of these measuring 0.08". The rest of the front, and the sides are in fine shape. The surface where the faucet resides and running down to the bottom of the basin is in excellent condition, as are the front and sides. In fact, there is not a single chip present in the entire basin. The flange has some chrome loss, so it was painted silver to help it look more like the rest of the piece (as in very good). The stopper is good overall with relatively little wear to the top, and it functions properly. The vertical outside portion of the sink is exceptionally nice. All that was found to point out on the front and sides are a couple very faint scratches on the left side, near the back, and a mark that is not a scratch approximately a quarter of the way back from the front. This may be removable with more effort, but it is hardly noticeable as it is. The bottom edge all the way around is lacking the typical chipping and looks fine. The underside has a little surface rust, but not much for the age, and the rest is very good. The mechanical and plumbing pieces are in very good physical condition and are ready to be used. The official color is "Fawn Beige" described as a warm, pink-cast tan. Included is the original cast iron mounting bracket. There is some light surface rust, but overall it's in good, usable condition. Please see the pictures for further details.
