This sink is in amazing condition for its 80 years, with gleaming white porcelain, relatively few blemishes to be found, original faucet in nice shape, and very little corrosion present. Top to bottom details. The horizontal surface of the backsplash is very good, save for a shallow 1.4" chip on the right side and a small chipped area on the back edge where it meets the wall. There are what look like other chips on that edge, but they are beneath the clear enamel, thus are part of the make up of the piece. The vertical surface of the backsplash is fine with no damage or wear. The faucet's chrome is very much intact for the age, with little pitting to be found. This sink has not been used for decades, so it has not been recently tested with water, but the movement of the handles feels correct and the stopper lever functions properly. The spout is slightly askew, but that can be rectified easily enough, as it just screws onto the pipe behind it. There is a tiny 0.1" chip on the right, rear of the surface that runs around the bowl, and the rest is excellent. The interior of the basin is much better than average overall. There is not a chip to be found down the sides to the bottom, and there are very few scratches at the bottom. The only area found to point out is a small rust spot to the rear of the flange. The flange and the stopper are in good physical condition and function as they should. The entire outside looks very nice with a mirror-like finish and very few blemishes. There is a chip at the right rear where it meets the wall and an almost invisible 0.1" on the front, bottom edge. Sometimes we repaint the sink bottoms, but in this case it was left untouched to show how very little corrosion there is. The bottom is damage free, and the plumbing and mechanical parts are good and operate as they should. Please see the pictures for further details.
