Century 1950's ovoid ginger jar hand painted in period enamels. This Figural jar with a wrap around scene depicts two Chinese ladies and a gentleman outside with a young boy waving a branch coming towards them. Traditional Chinese rock formation in turquoise, burnt orange clouds overhead with a floral orange and green upper border. Lower border of green, pink and yellow. The pecie is unsigned with speckled firing inclusions typical of the age.
An ususually coloured piece typical of the period.
