Beautiful European detailed vintage mirror featuring a carved wooden frame with floral and vine motif, a gilt gold finish and beveled mirror glass.
The mirror dates from between the 50's - 70's and is in excellent condition.
The gold finish has a two-tone color to it with gold and gold patina.
The hanging wire is added later, it looks more modern.
The backside has a fiberboard backing, commonly used in this time period.
I had the mirror in storage for a long time. The international movers had taped the hanging wire to the back of the mirror. Over time the tape was really stuck on there, and I removed as much as I could, hence the dark spot on the fiberboard, trying to remove the tape residue.
