An antique Imperial Glass NUCUT footed compote in clear pressed glass, likely dating to the 1910s or 1920s. Produced in Bellaire, Ohio, this piece belongs to Imperial’s celebrated NUCUT line, a pressed-glass series created to emulate the brilliance and geometry of hand-cut crystal. The form features a sharply molded sawtooth rim, faceted hexagonal stem, and richly patterned bowl with hobstar, fan, and diamond-cut style motifs.
Elegant and highly versatile, this compote works beautifully as a candy dish, bonbon server, or display accent on a bar, vanity, or cabinet. A crisp, sparkling example of early American pressed glass in excellent antique condition.
