Stunning Japanese printed 4-panel Byobu (folding screen) after the painting "Okurayama Autumn Leaves" by Kakaaki Ito. Printed on high-quality paper. Superb quality of printing. Signed and sealed by the artist in the print (printed). Silk brocade border. Lacquered black wood frame with engraved copper corners, plaques and medallions, showing age patina. Fabric on back. Comes in the storage fabric bag and box. Four never used Asian style brass hangers and a booklet are included. Japan, late Showa Era, circa 1980-1990s. Nearly excellent condition - no damage to the front nor back, minimal age wear on the frame, some age patina on copper corners and medallions; strong hinges, clean, sturdy; some age wear on the storage bag and box. This screen had one previous owner and was kept in the storage bag and box for few decades.
