This exceptional set of six Model 79 side chairs by Niels Otto Møller for J.L. Møller Møbelfabrik represents the pinnacle of Danish Modern design. The solid Burmese Teak frames have been hand-sanded and refinished, giving these ubiquitous chairs a sense of definition and character and showcase the stunning variegated woodgrains unique to the hardwood species with no scratches or other wear present whatsoever. The seats have been re-strapped and reupholstered in a rich, thick-cut genuine Italian leather hide in a fabulous hazelnut brown tone perfectly off-setting the natural wood tones of the solid teak frames. This bespoke, custom-designed and hand-restored set is incredibly comfortable, structurally sound and ready for a literal lifetime more of use.
