Absolutely divine late 1800's German hand-painted porcelain plaque entitled "Springtime" attributed to the Royal Porcelain Factory of Berlin KPM (Konigliche Porzellan-Manufaktur). Artwork depicts a gorgeous young maiden holding flowers, with a cherub carrying a flowering branch and whispering in her ear, and birds flying overhead. Beautifully detailed in luminous soft pastels.
Signed on the back: apres (after) Andre C. Voillemot, (1822-1893) Paris France;
Set within a gilt-wood ornate rococo style frame.
Plaque is in Immaculate condition. Frame has some very old repairs but, they're not noticeable.
Rare wonderful Santa Barbara estate sale find.
