The bold trumpet form, stepped base, and vertical double handles are classic examples of American Art Deco design from the 1930s–40s.

This piece is notable for its impressed shape number 866 on the base and its original Camark Pottery foil label still intact. This form does not appear in Camark’s published catalogs and is seldom encountered on the market, making it a rarer example of their Art Deco production.

This vase is in remarkable condition. It appears to have been used very little, and the only sign of wear is on the lable. It would make a very good sculptural piece, but can of course be used for its intended function as a vase. The wide mouth and narrow base would make it good for Ikebana arrangements. See less
