The artwork encompasses the idyllic community of a seaside village in Italy, Taormino from 2006. Taormina is a hilltop town on the east coast of Sicily. It sits near Mount Etna, an active volcano with cliffs drop to the sea forming coves with sandy beaches. A narrow stretch of sand connects to Isola Bella, a tiny island and nature reserve. The colorful view of this peaceful area shows two boats docked on the sand of a brilliant blue ocean front. The artist has signed and dated the piece on the front, and on the backside is the title as well. It is in good condition for its usage. See less
