The last 2 shots in photos are the before shots. The first 14 are the present condition. Front legs were replaced with clear lucite with brass caps. the rear legs were painted gold. We did not mess with the coiled sprung Lawson back. The buttons were eliminated. The seat is now
transfixed (it doesn't come out and stays transfixed. (aka tight seat) The beige interior is micro
suede. The white exterior is 100 percent cotton. Both had been treated with stain resistants. The chairs have shifted towards a Saarinen form. I hope my explanation of the chairs metamorphosis was useful regarding the transition of a late 40s club chair
