The frame features a complex molded profile with alternating ovate grooves and carved moldings. The central cartouche at the top is very pronounced and adorned with acanthus leaves, while the side volutes are symmetrical. The entire border features a succession of floral motifs and rosettes repeated along the entire edge. General Condition: Excellent condition. Provenance: Rome, early 19th century.
