This exceptional sideboard, designed by the talented rudolf b. Glatzel, exudes pure mid-century modern elegance. The piece combines functionality with a refined design language: it features four identical sliding doors that glide smoothly and are fitted with characteristic round handles recessed into the wood. To the right of these is a block of four drawers, each with a beautifully organic, “scoop”-like handle. The most striking feature, however, is the base. The sideboard rests on a continuous, lower shelf that elegantly extends on both sides. This shelf is supported by three identical, robust "x"-shaped cross legs, creating a unique and dynamic structure. This piece has been fully professionally restored, bringing the warm and vibrant veneer back to its former glory.
