This antique chandelier is an example of the Empire style, constructed from heavy cast bronze with a finely chased ormolu (gilt bronze) finish. The fixture features a prominent spherical central body detailed with foliate patterns, surmounted by a decorative torch-form motif. Six scrolling arms with classical motifs extend from the center, each supporting a candle-style light socket. The design is anchored by a large, detailed pine cone finial at the base.
This light requires six E-12 candelabra light bulbs. Restored and ready to ship. The manufacturer and exact date of creation are unknown. The dimensions are 32 in. H x 18 in. diameter.
