The design includes a waisted frame and a decorative apron with carved cloud-motif spandrels. The open-structure waist is detailed with interlocking double-ring motifs, symbolizing longevity and unity. The table shows distressed, authentic condition consistent with its age. The top surface shows significant wear and loss of lacquer, revealing the natural elm wood grain beneath, while the frame and legs display scattered scuffs and weathering. These aesthetic imperfections provide a rustic, lived-in character that highlights its historical provenance.
