Constructed from solid elm using traditional tenon and mortise joinery, each table is finished in a deep black lacquer that has aged to a soft, matte patina.

The design utilizes a square-corner construction with a flush-panel top and straight aprons. The legs are reinforced by stylized humpback stretchers, providing both structural stability and a subtle decorative curve to the otherwise linear frame. Each leg terminates in a refined horse-hoof (mǎtí) foot. Their compact proportions and clean lines make them ideal as end tables, nightstands, or versatile accent pieces in a contemporary interior.
