Vintage late 20th-century penshell box set attributed to luxury department store Gumps in San Francisco.
The smaller box features a tiger shell integrated into the lid. The lid is removable and features a beveled edge accented in coordinating tiger shell. The body is finished in a pale pink iridescent penshell. Measure 4.5" x 3" x 3.25" high.
The larger box is finished in pale pink iridescent penshell throughout. Measures 4.25" x 4.25" x 4" high.
The bottoms are lined in velvet and the interiors are finished in natural wood.
