Beautiful … Read more 19th century writers desk with very unusual original velvet foot rest. I believe this is either walnut or Rosewood. Beautiful drawers and cabinets. I do not have the original key. Carving is all original. It has been clean and polished with the French paced wax. There is some slight watermark on the desk, which cleans up with wax. I just wanted to show it in photos for details. See less
