A ceramic vase with a slightly flared body, resting on a rimmed base. The body is covered with a matte pink slip, upon which is a prominent high-relief decoration of stylized foliage and flowers, likely bindweed or morning glory. The leaves have a bluish-green patina, while the flowers are rendered in white and pink with gold highlights on the pistils and stems.
Hand-painted decoration.
French work from the Art Nouveau period, early 20th century.
Under the base, an incised mark “VR”.
