A striking lacquered credenza executed in the manner of James Mont, showcasing a bold geometric façade and refined Hollywood Regency presence.
This piece features a clean-lined silhouette elevated by applied geometric detailing across the three front doors, rendered in a soft cream lacquer with contrasting mint green accents. The composition reflects the Asian-inspired and architectural motifs often associated with James Mont’s iconic designs.
Recently refinished, the surface presents beautifully with a smooth lacquered finish that enhances its decorative impact, making it especially appealing for contemporary interiors seeking a vintage statement piece with a fresh, curated look.
The interior is thoughtfully configured with generous storage, including removable shelving on each side and a central bank of drawers, offering both functionality and versatility.
While unsigned, the design strongly reflects the aesthetic language of James Mont, and is therefore attributed accordingly.
A sophisticated and visually engaging piece that bridges classic Hollywood Regency glamour with modern livability.
