Circa Late 19th Century. … Read more This really is a Great Looking - Very Unusual Antique Drug Store Apothecary Jar - Canister. Circa Late 19th Century. It is made out of Stoneware with a Two Color Salt Glaze. The Original Red Painted Lid is made out of Heavy Gauge Tin. The Front has an applied Gold, Red and Black Painted Label that identifies the contents as UNG : ZINCI ( Translation Zinc Oxide ).
It is in Very Nice Overall Original Condition - No Cracks - No Repairs - Displays Very Nicely. The Internal Top Rim has some Small Chips that would have all Occurred with Normal Use Over the Years.
It Measures 7 1/4 inches Tall x 5 3/4 inches Wide - Long.
