The upper section features a glass-fronted curio case designed with an intricate "asymmetric" shelf arrangement, known as bogu-ge, which creates various tiers and staggered compartments for showcasing small treasures. The glass doors are secured by elegant brass hardware and open to reveal a spacious interior with clean, geometric lines. The lower base consists of a solid storage cabinet with two flush-panel doors, anchored by a circular brass medallion lock and reinforced by decorative butterfly-style hinges at the corners. The entire piece is supported by a simple, recessed apron with short, straight legs, blending traditional Ming-style minimalism with functional elegance.
