Overview:
Add a vibrant, sophisticated touch to your bar cart with this pristine, complete "harlequin" set of six liqueur glasses (borrelglaasjes). Designed by the renowned Max Verboeket in 1956 for the celebrated Dutch glassworks Kristalunie Maastricht, this "Carnaval" series remains a high-water mark for Mid-Century Modern European glassware.
Design & Details:
Each glass features a vibrant, jewel-toned bowl supported by a distinctive clear crystal stem with a classic double-knop (lobed) design. The set includes the full original color spectrum:
Emerald Green
Amethyst Purple
Cobalt Blue
Amber/Yellow
Smoke Gray
Olive Green
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. These glasses have been remarkably well-preserved with no chips, cracks, or "clouding." The crystal remains clear and the colors are exceptionally vibrant.
