Each bowl is composed of an alabastro white core overlaid with a warm butterscotch-amber layer, all suspended within a thick, transparent casing. The controlled layering of color results in a soft diffusion of tone, while the clarity of the outer glass enhances the sense of volume and luminosity. These characteristics are closely associated with high-quality Murano production of the postwar period and align with works attributed to the Seguso workshops. Each bowl is formed in a softened square with four evenly spaced hand-pulled indentations, creating a subtle clover-like outline. This combination of organic curvature and geometric structure reflects a balanced approach to mid-century glass design, where form and material are given equal emphasis. Measuring approximately 4 inches (10.2 cm) in width and 2 inches (5.1 cm) in height, the bowls are compact yet substantial, suitable for use as decorative objects, catchalls, or small sculptural accents. Condition is very good vintage, with no chips or cracks observed. Both examples retain smoothly polished bases consistent with Murano glass production of the period. See less
