Elegant and playful decorative object designed by Paolo D’Anna for Vivai del Sud, Italy, Circa 70s.
This sculptural piece features a stylized monkey holding an octagonal bowl, executed in glossy white glazed ceramic. The expressive form and refined finish are characteristic of Italian Hollywood Regency design from this period.
The underside bears a handwritten inscription “per Vivai del Sud” along with the artist’s signature, indicating a workshop or limited production piece made for the renowned Italian design house.
