The piece of furniture has two drawers and is characterized by a simple and elegant design, with the two small drawers finely molded with multiple orders of carving. The top is a single plank and shows an excellent patina, as does the entire table. A characteristic of the table is that it could originally be dismantled to be transported for travel. In fact, the lyres were connected to the table by iron fittings that could be unhooked, and therefore the carved ribs present today were applied later with antique wood. The measurements of the table are: 133 x 65 x 82 height. See less
