A prestigious desk from the German Workshops for Interior Design (Deutsche Werkstätten für Wohnkunst), featuring the purist design language of the Bauhaus combined with typical 1960s attributes. The high-quality craftsmanship typical of WK furniture is evident in the perfectly mirrored walnut veneer and its exceptional stability. Two compartments and four drawers on the front offer ample storage for office supplies, while the attractively designed back allows the desk to be positioned freely in the room.
The desk is primarily constructed from veneered panels; the drawers, handles, and leg structure are solid wood. It is fully glued and therefore cannot be disassembled for transport. Unfortunately, the key to the right-hand drawer lock is missing.
The desk has been sanded and finished with a satin lacquer.
