This is an elegant pair of Vintage Regency Revival giltwood occasional tables with specimen marble tops by the great English … Read more This is an elegant pair of Vintage Regency Revival giltwood occasional tables with specimen marble tops by the great English decorator David Hicks, mid-20th century in date. The circular specimen marble tops feature exotic designs with concentric circles inlaid with double bands of geometric shapes and seashells. The tops are supported by giltwood bases, each with carved anthemion on tapering tripod legs with lion masques and tulip trails terminating in lion's paw feet on a shaped stretcher base. Provenance: Purchased at great expense from David Hick Interiors, Jersey Condition: In really excellent condition with no damage, please see photos for confirmation.
