This classic English rocking chair is the perfect place to relax and is also exceptionally decorative.

The distinctive, organic design of the "Grandfather Rocking Chair" was created by Lucian Ercolani for Ercol in the early 1960s.

It is of very high quality, crafted from solid elm and beech wood, and is simply unmistakable…

CONDITION
The rocking chair is in very good and beautiful vintage condition – very rare for this model – with minor, typical age-related marks on the wood surface.

* The previous owner had the rear part of the base professionally shortened by a carpenter, but this has no significant impact on the chair's usability. The previous owner continued to use the rocking chair happily for many years after the frame was shortened. However, to be fair, we have adjusted the price accordingly.

* There are a few minor to medium-sized marks on the wood, including small to medium surface scratches, uneven coloring, dents, and nicks. These marks are mostly found along the edges of the chair.

* We have cleaned and treated the chair with wood preservative, so the rocking chair is ready for immediate use and can be enjoyed for a long time without any further maintenance or cleaning.
