Edwardian Marquetry Wood Cheval Mirror
An elegant Edwardian cheval mirror crafted in the George III style. The piece features a prominent broken swan-neck pediment centered by a ram's head motif. The rectangular mirror plate is set within a slender wood frame, with marquetry decoration. The frame is supported by two square-tapered uprights topped with turned finials and is equipped with brass roundel handles to facilitate a tilting mechanism. The structure is raised on four outwept, curved legs joined by a simple stretcher and terminates in original brass wheeled feet.
Mirror is a little frosted with age.
