This is an antique poodle tobacco jar. An English, fruitwood dog-shaped treen, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
Fascinating treen ware, with a charming begging dog form
Displays a desirable aged patina and in lightly time-worn, original order
Carved fruitwood presented in a superb poodle form
