An expressive mid-century figurative painting that captures an intimate interior moment where a woman is seen cleaning a shop window, set within a richly layered setting, executed in oil onto canvas.

Her gesture feels unhurried, calmly cleaning the shop front window. The room unfolds around her: a table laid with fruit, a small vase of flowers, and stacked vessels or books that lend a sense of warmth.

The composition leans into a modernist, naïve expressionist style. Perspective is deliberately flattened, and forms are simplified into bold, almost sculptural shapes.
