This ornate 5-light chandelier is estimated to be from the mid 20th century and of the Hollywood Regency style. It features solid brass scrolling arms and gilded bronze leaf accents, ending in decorative bobeches and candle-style lights. In total, there are 62 faceted lead crystal prisms and pendalogues. It's prominent feature is the central pineapple-shaped crystal element, which is often referred to as a "hospitality" symbol in traditional decor. It's ceiling canopy/cap (not original) is a stunning compliment to the overall design, with the cut crystal of the "pineapple" echoed in the rim, and the gilded leaf motif in the center. Gorgeous, high-quality fixture!

Seller acquired this fixture after it was de-installed and, for that reason, cannot attest to its working condition. The existing wiring does appear to be in good condition, with no fraying. The candelabra sleeves (total = 5) need to be replaced, as they have cracked over time (see photos) All of the metal is intact and in very good condition, with some patina on the arms and (solid brass) and gilded leaf accents. None of the 62 faceted crystals have damage. less
