Japanese bronze and marble bodied tall table lamp, with large original silk shade, brought back from Marine Commander stationed in Japan post world war II. The commander was grandfather to the granddaughter we have purchased this piece, his ss # etched into the base like all soldiers commonly did in those uncertain times. Circa mid-twentieth century, Okinawa, Japan.
