Complete your mission for your forever home with this authentic Ethan Allen Bonheur du Jour or ladies writing desk. Featured is a black cherry writing surface with hand stenciled harvest decorations on the backsplash, drawer front and both sides. The ring turned legs have gilt accents. There are two accessory drawers and a main large drawer below the desk surface. The larger drawer has two wood pencil trays. Brass hardware. In excellent condition with period wear and patina, consistent with age and use. There are a few small scratches on the writing surface. No serious damage or repairs. Very sturdy and solid. No wobbles.
