The trefoil top is covered in a parquet of tessellated travertine tiles with a solid travertine border, all sitting on a tripartite base with three ebonized baluster columns capped with carved gilt lotus petal collars, joined by a curved wooden stretcher on brass ball casters. The combination of ebonized wood, gilt carved detail, and natural stone is quintessential Monteverdi-Young.

The table measures 53.5 inches wide by 17 inches tall. Condition is very good vintage with very minor edge chipping to the travertine perimeter, and some scuffing and paint wear to the base consistent with age and use.
