An antique Louis XIV style wall mirror, crafted from carved gilt wood, dating to approximately 1880. Its frame is carved with a profusion of rocaille motifs, acanthus leaves, and floral elements, culminating in a prominent floral crest at the top and a complementary flourish at the bottom. The mirror features is set within a finely detailed inner bezel. This piece is unsigned. The hand-carved details and gilded finish exemplify the decorative arts of the late Victorian era.
