A striking hand-thrown and hand-decorated pottery jar crafted from Tonto clay, signed “M Soden 11/03.” This lidded vessel features a rich reddish-brown clay body adorned with bold black leaf or seed-like motifs, giving it a unique mid-century modern feel with roots in traditional Southwestern pottery styles.

The interiors of both the lid and jar are finished with a smooth, glossy white glaze, creating a beautiful contrast to the earthy exterior while making them suitable for light, functional use. Both decorative and practical, this piece works beautifully as a statement accent or storage vessel.
