Empire mahogany chest of drawers. The front features three drawers, the first of which is slightly projecting, supported by uprights with maple fillets and vase-shaped feet. Poplar interior, handles, escutcheons, and a central applique in wrought and gilded bronze. Some missing parts. Italy, early 19th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
